06/09/2010 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - French Open champion Rafael Nadal and second-seeded Novak Djokovic highlighted Wednesday's second-round winners at the Aegon Championships, a grass-court Wimbledon tune-up.

Making a smooth transition from clay to grass, the newly-crowned versatile world No. 1 Nadal whipped Brazil's Marcos Daniel 6-2, 6-2 in a mere 52 minutes at The Queen's Club. Nadal is fresh off his fifth title in six years at Roland Garros and currently riding a 23-match winning streak. He's seeking his fifth title in as many events, having also recently titled, all on clay, in Monte Carlo, Rome and Madrid.

The former Wimbledon champion Nadal was the Queen's Club champ two years ago. His third-round opponent on Thursday will be Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin.

Djokovic, meanwhile, drubbed Italian Paolo Lorenzi 6-3, 6-3 on Day 3 here. The Serbian star, who lost to Nadal in the 2008 Queen's Club finale, will meet Belgian Xavier Malisse in the round of 16.

In other action involving top-10 seeds, No. 5 Croat Marin Cilic came from behind to best Frenchman Nicolas Mahut 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-2; No. 7 Sam Querrey doused fellow American Robby Ginepri 7-6 (7-4), 6-2; No. 8 Spaniard Feliciano Lopez beat Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov 6-2, 6-4; and No. 9 Frenchman Julien Benneteau dismissed South African Kevin Anderson 7-5, 6-3.

Four other seeds advanced to the third round, as No. 12 Frenchman Michael Llodra pasted American Jesse Levine 6-4, 6-2; American Mardy Fish knocked out No. 13 Colombian Santiago Giraldo 7-6 (7-5), 6-2; No. 14 Israeli Dudi Sela subdued Luxembourg's Gilles Muller 7-5, 6-2; and the No. 16 Istomin erased Jamaican Dustin Brown 7-6 (9-7), 6-4.

Additional second-round wins came for Spaniard Marcel Granollers and the aforementioned Malisse, who held off promising Aussie Bernard Tomic 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Some other Thursday matches will pit third-seeded and defending champion Andy Murray against Fish and fourth-seeded four-time Queen's Club titlist Andy Roddick versus Sela.

Murray beat American James Blake in last year's Queen's Club finale to become the first British champion here in 71 years.
